Italian cardinal; auditor general of the apostolic chamber; dean of the Sacred College of Cardinals.

DS - Document Signed, one page with embossed paper/wax seal, dated May 1669, just months before being named a cardinal. Appears to refer to the estate of Johannes Petrus Terentius that was to go to a monastery of nuns of St. Clare, Gubbio. Merits further research. Nota bene:  We cannot say with certainty that this is signed by Acciaoli or created in his name and signed by a notary as the document is not fully translated. Priced accordingly.

Created a cardinal-deacon in November 1669 with dispensation for not having yet received minor orders. Named papal legate in Ferrara (1670); reappointed in 1680. Cleric of the Apostolic Chamber and commissary dell Armi 1654. Served as Secretary of the Holy Inquisition from 1717-19. Sub-dean of the Sac. College of Cardinals.

Two other members of the family were cardinals.
